They are so much fun to play that I cannot seem to stop playing them!You probably already know what a Minecraft Tavern is, but it is easy to be confused about exactly what it is all about. It is basically a built-in mini-game inside of Minecraft, which allows players to interact with other players. The main goal of the Tavern is to attract players to your town and make them enjoy their stay.Taverns can be found in many different areas, ranging from buildings to farms. There are many different settings for each one, and they each have their own unique type of atmosphere. The most common tavern is one that has a bar inside, with tables scattered around it. There are also some that are actual taverns, complete with pub-style furniture, tables, and even some music on the inside.The most popular tavern I have seen was found on My Town in mine, however I am sure there are other taverns on the servers, and I don't know which ones they are! Since I prefer them to be open and packed with people, I prefer the open-air taverns. With this type of tavern, you have to be willing to mix with other players, but sometimes you can catch a break.Because of the open nature of taverns, they tend to attract a lot of negative reactions from players, mostly just because they encourage folks to take off into a 'VIP' mode where they are a bit more aggressive, or they are completely rude. I have had several friends tell me they 'have to leave' at these taverns because they were treated poorly. This really isn't the way a Minecraft Tavern should be run, however.If a Tavernis managed correctly, they should have a peaceful atmosphere. Unfortunately, too many servers, especially those that are new, can't handle this aspect of the game well. MineZ, for example, only allowed villager/player interactions while in-town, but other taverns had such close proximity to each other that the difference was not as noticeable.So, if you are having trouble finding a nice setup for your Minecraft Tavern, or you want to create one, don't hesitate to contact minez staff for help. They will be more than happy to help, and most servers are more than willing to accommodate your Tavern. Some servers actually allow the creation of the Tavern entirely within the client.If you're looking for a server where you can host your own Tavern, MineZ has everything you need.
